Articulate Rise

Articulate Rise Full Course

Audience: Internal to the Organization

Tool: Articulate Rise, Camtasia

A DEI course about Pride Month and Queer Representation in Entertainment. I was tasked with turning a lunch and learn presentation recording into a full course that could be permanently available for staff. I broke the hour-long presentation into chunks and added supplemental information throughout as well as an intro and conclusion.

Articulate Rise Microlearning

Audience: General Public - Adults interested in at-home mixology

Tools: Articulate Rise Microlearning, Chat GPT

A Microlearning created for an E-Learning Heroes Challenge. I thought that at-home mixology was a fun subject for a micro-learning. I also saw it as an opportunity to play with Chat GPT to help me come up with the content.

Gamification engages learners and can be used to reinforce learning.

Medieval Map Game

Tool: Storyline, Adobe Illustrator

I used story elements to make the user the hero of this quiz game. It was an opportunity to play with the new text-to-speech feature in Storyline as well. I think it would be fun to build it out further and add more story.

My plan was also to use this idea as a template to create more of these type of quizzes with different themes such as in space or a zombie apocalypse and use them as quarterly challenges for our customers.

Escape Room

Tool: Storyline

This escape room was put together as an E-Learning Heroes challenge. I saw it as a fun opportunity to do a different sort of game and to play with the 360 degree feature in Storyline.

One thing I don't love is that when using the 360 feature, whenever you click on a hotspot, the green hotspot can be seen by the player, hopefully Storyline will fix that bug.
